Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—It is a privilege to recognise Bradley Dunn, CEO of the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network, who has been named as one of three finalists for the 2025 Mental Health Commission of NSW's Individual Community Champion Award. For more than 16 years, Brad has dedicated himself to improving mental health outcomes across our region. As CEO, he works tirelessly to secure funding, strengthen partnerships, and ensure the community's voice is heard in shaping mental health services. His leadership has driven several key initiatives, including the rollout of the Shifting the Landscape Strategic Framework, the Navigating the Landscape forum and report, and the launch of National Hope Week, a national campaign promoting suicide prevention and community connection. This year, Brad also spearheaded the creation of the Evolve Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub in Charlestown. The Hub provides a safe, free, and welcoming space where anyone can seek guidance and support for mental health, relationship, or life challenges. Brad's compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment have transformed countless lives. His recognition as a finalist is a well-deserved honour for someone who continues to make an extraordinary difference in the mental health and wellbeing of our community.
