Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—It was absolutely fantastic to meet two incredible young athletes from the Charlestown electorate today: sibling dynamos Charlotte and Harrison James. I welcomed Charlotte, Harrison and their very proud parents to my electorate office in order to present these phenomenal youngsters with State Representative Awards. Charlotte received two awards, for the 1500m and Medley Relay at the Track and Field Championships and Football Championships, while Harrison was recognised for the Cross Country Championships. Charlotte is already smashing records—she is one of the fastest girls in the history of NSW! Understandably, she has the 2032 Brisbane Olympics in her sights. Not to be outdone, Harrison was quick to point out he'd be hot on her heels. Both Charlotte and Harrison told me all about their training regimens, and I was in awe. The two are alumni of the wonderful Charlestown South Public School. Harrison is starting high school this year, while Charlotte continues on at Hunter Sports High. Congratulations to you both, I can't wait to see what comes next!
