Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I'd like to recognise Elsie and Keith O'Neill, who this year celebrated an incredible 70 years of marriage surrounded by their loving family of three children, eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Keith and Elsie, now aged 92 and 89, were married in 1955 at the half-finished St Stephen's Anglican Church in Adamstown. Both grew up in the same suburb and often crossed paths as teenagers. Keith remembers seeing Elsie at the local park while Elsie fondly recalls watching the young lifesaver run along the beach, the boy who would later become her husband. In their younger years, the couple enjoyed simple pleasures such as trips to the Adamstown cinema and square dancing in the street with friends. Over the decades, their shared love, kindness and commitment to one another have remained strong. Elsie and Keith's remarkable partnership is a beautiful example of devotion, friendship and family. Their 70-year milestone stands as a testament to a life built on love, laughter and shared memories within the Adamstown community. Congratulations to Elsie and Keith O'Neill on this wonderful achievement.
