Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I would like to congratulate Jessica Godinet, who has been named the Northern NSW Football Local Champion Awards May Player of the Month. Jessica plays with Charlestown Junior Football Club and is known for her fast and classy style of play, as well as her leadership both on and off the field. She is currently the only female competing in the 2025 Interdistrict A Grade Mixed Competition, where she continues to hold her own as a tough and talented competitor. Beyond her performance on the field, Jessica is a valued member of her club community. She brings energy and enthusiasm to every game day, is always willing to lend a hand, and is respected by players and supporters alike. She is particularly admired by younger girls at the club, who look up to her as a role model. Jessica also plays for the Macquarie Football community state team and, just this week, inspired her mother to sign up for the Over 30 Women's competition and play football for the very first time. Jessica's passion, sportsmanship and commitment to growing the game make her a worthy recipient of this recognition. I congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.
