Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I recognise Kathleen Pink of the Charlestown District Cricket Club for her extraordinary dedication and lifelong service to community cricket. Kathleen recently stood on the turf of the Sydney Cricket Ground, where she was honoured by Cricket NSW with a Community Distinguished Service Award, recognising more than 25 years of volunteer service to the game. This prestigious award celebrates the vital role that volunteers play in strengthening cricket and supporting local communities. Kathleen's passion, commitment and tireless work have shaped the cricket journeys of countless players across generations. Her impact was further acknowledged when she proudly served as a flag bearer during the opening ceremony on day one of the Men's Ashes New Year's Test. Kathleen's service is truly inspiring, and our community is deeply grateful for her remarkable contribution to the sport we all love.
