Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—I'm thrilled to be able to recognise the junior divisions of the Newcastle Northstars Ice Hockey Club, who have recently finished their competitions for the year, and all grades can be so very proud of the great results achieved. Congratulations to the Under-17s team who came in fourth place in New South Wales, the Under-15s who are the 2024 Winter State Champions, the Under-13s and Under-11s also came fourth in the state and finally the Under-9s were third place in all of New South Wales. I also sincerely congratulate Dawn Watt from the Northstars who was awarded the Hunter Adult Volunteer of the Year, as a result of her amazing contribution to the Club, and to the growth and development of ice hockey throughout Australia. The Northstars are indeed truly fortunate to have Dawn, and I know that all who are associated with the Club are so admiring of the stellar work Dawn does. Good luck to all the Northstars teams for the next season.
