Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—Congratulations to Sharon Brown on an extraordinary 40-year career in education, including 26 years of dedicated service to the St James' Primary School community. Sharon's connection with St James' began long before she entered the classroom as a teacher. She first walked through the school gates as a four-year-old student, before returning years later to devote her career to educating, inspiring and nurturing generations of young people. Throughout her time at St James', Sharon has been a trusted educator, mentor and role model whose kindness, compassion and unwavering commitment have made a lasting difference to countless students and their families. Her dedication to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment has helped children develop the confidence to learn, grow and thrive. Sharon's remarkable career has also been shaped by the strong relationships she has built with colleagues, parents and the wider school community, leaving a legacy that will continue to be felt for many years to come. As Sharon begins a well-earned retirement, heartfelt thanks are extended for her decades of service and the immeasurable contribution she has made to education. Congratulations once again, and every happiness is wished for this exciting new chapter.
