Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—Congratulations to Kahibah Football Club members Sophie Whale and Jaime Mills-Cove on their selection in the Northern NSW Football Female Referee Mentor Program. Supported by the NSW Government's Office of Sport, the program is designed to develop the next generation of female match officials by providing participants with valuable mentoring opportunities and guidance from experienced referees and football leaders. As part of the program, Sophie and Jaime were appointed as assistant referees for the Community Plate Final, giving them the opportunity to officiate in a high-level match environment while continuing to build their skills, confidence and experience. Their selection is a well-deserved recognition of the dedication, professionalism and passion they have shown both on and off the field. Their achievements also reflect the supportive sporting culture fostered by Kahibah Football Club, which continues to nurture players, officials and volunteers who make a valuable contribution to our local community. Congratulations once again to Sophie and Jaime on this outstanding achievement, and every success is wished as they continue their refereeing journeys and inspire the next generation of female match officials.
