Ms JODIE HARRISON (Charlestown—Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)—Congratulations to Hunter Sports High School students Will Manning, Cooper Townsend and Curtis Mulherin on their selection in the 2026 Australian Schoolboys Rugby League national team. This well-deserved honour follows the trio's outstanding performances at the 2026 Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League National Championships, where they displayed the skill, determination and sportsmanship required to earn selection among Australia's most promising young rugby league players. Their selection will see them travel to Papua New Guinea in October to represent Australia on the international stage, an extraordinary achievement that reflects the countless hours of training, commitment and perseverance invested throughout their sporting journeys. Will, Cooper and Curtis have not only excelled on the field but have also become outstanding ambassadors for Hunter Sports High School, demonstrating the values of teamwork, resilience and respect that are at the heart of school sport. This success is also a testament to the unwavering support of their families, coaches, teachers and teammates, whose encouragement has helped them achieve this significant milestone. Congratulations once again to Will, Cooper and Curtis, and every success is wished as they proudly represent Australia in Papua New Guinea.
